The OSX audit script is your friend. It lives in:
Linux
/usr/local/open-audit/other/audit_osx.sh
Windows
c:\xampplite\open-audit\other\audit_osx.sh
Just copy it to your Mac's and either call it with the url parameter or set the url variable in the script. Take a look at the script and you'll see it is the URL to POST the audit data to.
Run it on a cron or however you like.
I have a handful of Apple computers on my network that are not always in-house, so I would like to know if there is an easy and fast way for me to run a script or something so that they can be added to my OpenAudIT server.
I realize that I can manually find it by IP, however I would like an option similar to the way I would do a windows machine offline.
