Hi!

I want to add audit comments for each device (e.g., some maintenance records etc.). As I could not find such option, I thought I could create a new table in database with required fields. Do not know if this is the right action but anyway..

When I try to create a new table in "Admin > Database > List tables" section, I get an error mesage. See attached picture.

In opDaemon.log I see message:

[Wed Dec  6 14:31:08 2017] [error] Can't use string ("") as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at /</usr/local/omk/script/../lib/OaeController.pm.exe>Opmantek/OaeController.pm line 793.

In open-audit.log I see messages:

[Wed Dec 6 14:31:07 2017] [error] 2205 OMK::oae->get: URL: http://127.0.0.1/open-audit/index.php/util/dictionary/create
[Wed Dec 6 14:31:07 2017] [error] 2205 OMK::oae->get: Nothing returned in response from OAC. Internal Server Error
[Wed Dec 6 14:31:07 2017] [error] 2205 OMK::oae->get: URL: http://127.0.0.1/open-audit/index.php/database/create

Could anyone help me understanding these messages? What could be next steps for fonding root cause? My setup is Ubuntu 14.04 KVM with 1 CPU and 1024 MB RAM. OAE with 20 nodes limit.

Thanks!

      Uldras,

      The correct process would be to add a custom field. You can find more about Custom Fields on the Open-AudIT wiki, HERE: Fields

      You can also find instructions on how to reset your Open-AudIT database HERE: Reset, Backup and Restore the Open-AudIT database

      Best,

      Mark H
