Is there a way to stop alerts on unused CheckPoint functionality?

We get frequent alerts of the following:

Event:   Alert: Checkpoint Monitor
Element:              DTPS
Details: Desktop Policy Server: Down, Connected Users:0

Is there a way to specifically ignore this event as it's not something we use in our environment? I have tried to use nocollect to ignore the OID as follows - without success:

   'nocollect' => {
        'oid' => 'dtpsStatShortDescr',
        },

      Hi Rob,

      The checkpoint services are located in the Checkpoint.pm file located at /usr/local/nmis8/conf/plugins. You can edit this file to stop these alerts from displaying.
