Version 3.5.3

Haven't done a manual import for a long time.

So started basice

Name, Type, Org_id

Test, Computer, 1

Object in discoveries could not be created - no "type" supplied.

×Total discoveries uploaded: 1

Total Created: 0

Total Updated: 0

Total Errors: 1

Check your user has permission on the supplied organisation and/or the supplied discoveries id exists.

So then I tried to use the test files under the other/imports folder and those failed as well with same error.

Ok so I think this is how we did it in that past

      https://firstwave.com/webinars/opmantek-how-to-quickly-import-devices-from-csv-into-open-audit/

Though this option isn't available now so now how is the above accomplished?

What are you trying to import? A device or a discovery?

A discovery cannot have a type of 'computer'. It should (in your case, most likely) be 'subnet'.

You will also need the 'subnet' attribute.

I would very strongly suggest upgrading to the latest release.
