Why are my audit times in Australia time zone?

I just audited a server:

My PID is : 124181
Audit Start Time : 2017-01-19 08:54:44

audit log in open-audit shows this time for same audit: 2017-01-20 00:54:54

We are in the New York time zone

      Ok, should have searched before posting (smile) I found the fix:

      C:\xampplite\mysql\bin\my.ini

      Changed the default timezone from Melbourne to New_York, and then confirmed audit log has correct audit time now.

        yeah I saw a sort of long discusssion here. I would think it would be easier to find such an important piece of info than scrolling through a long discussion The FAQ mentions time zones but......
