Install an opEvents parser plugin such as: snmpTrap.pm (need to provide tested sample). This perl module will be placed in /usr/local/omd/conf/parser_plugins.
Step #4 - Restart associated daemons
Restart the following daemons:
- rsyslog
- snmptrapd
- opeventsd
