NMIS 8.7.0G has been released this week. This version contains a number of bug fixes and enhancements; in particular improved candidate node selection with a new configuration item and process management, and reworked modelling for several devices. Also, new models are included.

We've been a bit remiss in not posting news items for new NMIS 9 beta releases for a while, so here you are:
the most recent NMIS 9 release, 9.0.5, went out this week. This is what we'd call a 'very late beta' release, development progress has been good and we're getting very close to a general release.

We've released version 8.6.8G of NMIS today, which contains a number of bug fixes and improvements; in particular improved candidate node selection and process management, and reworked modelling for Net-SNMP devices.

We've released Version 9.0.1 of NMIS 9 today. This is a late beta release that works pretty well and we're getting close to a general release.
It's possible to run NMIS 8 and 9 in parallel on a single system, so experimenting with the next generation of NMIS is quite easy.
