Hi,
This is a display only bug. The credentials are saved in the database correctly, but the display template has a bug that shows them incorrectly. This has now addressed. You can see the code change on Github - https://github.com/Opmantek/open-audit/commit/6b308cda0356731683db7e48e634593b47f747a7
It is probably easiest to download the file from here - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Opmantek/open-audit/master/app/Views/credentialsRead.php
And copy it to -
Linux - /usr/local/open-audit/app/Views/credentialsRead.php
Windows - c:\xampp\open-audit\app\Views\credentialsRead.php
Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Mark.

Ok, that would be the best and easiest solution. I try and will give feedback. Thanks

Could you please confirm which version of Open-AudIT you are currently running?
Thanks

I would really appriciate any help. If bug is not to be solved I need to move forward to a different vendor.

Hi,
I created new snmp_v3 credentials and set it to use SHA and authpriv. But when I leave the settings and return they are back to MD5 an NoAuthNoPriv.
Any idea what is going wrong?
