Hello!

Is it possible to use MS SQL or Oracle instead of mysql?

If it is, how can we change OA database? What is the best practice for this case?

        Hello Elena,

If you are using Open-AudIT Community this would be possible, but very laborious. All of the database calls are optimized for my-sql (RHEL6 and Windows) or Maria-dB (RHEL-7). These would need to be reworked, and (of course) the database structure would need to be rebuilt. As a starting point, you can backup the existing database using the instructions found on our wiki HERE: Reset, Backup and Restore the Open-AudIT database; then perhaps import the backup into the dB format of your choosing to recreate the structure.
