Hi ,

I have installed open-audit community version on centos 6.5 and discovered some of the servers(windows & linux) and able to check those server details in the home page. But we want to export  a server complete  details as xml or csv or xls format. Is that possible in GUI ? or in server terminal ? Please advice

      Hello gowthamakanthan

The commercial version of Open-AudIT Community, Open-AudIT Enterprise, includes built-in export in several formats at the device level. It also includes a consolidated Export screen that lets you select which Queries to include for a system wide export. OAE also includes a very robust API that outputs in JSON format.

Your installation of OAC includes OAE and a a complimentary 20-device license so you can evaluate it yourself.

Please let us know if we can help further.

Open-AudIT will provide a list of log files (including name and path) it finds in common log file locations for both Linux and Windows platforms. However, it does not scan or analyze the contents of the log files or pull copies from the scanned device to the Open-AudIT server.

Please keep in mind the audit scripts for all platforms are open-source and can be modified by you to take whatever additional action(s) you may want done after a log file is discovered.

Ok. You mean in our case we are discovering linux machine so we need to edit audit_linux.sh ? If it is, do we have any predefined format/syntax to do so?
