windows audit only works from audit my pc

I put windows in there but right now it's the only one i care about, the other might be the same. I've run discovery and found machines, but they're not returning software or anything. if i log out and run the audit from the login screen it works fine. i can't seem to find any logs pertaining to the failure so i have no idea why it's not working or not reporting. I've verified the url is correct. ideas?

p.s. when i look at device details, and audit log it's showing a bunch of these where i've tried to run on this machine hitting "discover":
