How can I migrate rrd files from NMIS8 to NMIS9?

Hello,

I want to move nodes and rrds from a NMIs8 Server to a new NMIS9 Server but rrds have another structur in NMIS9 as in NMIS8.

      Hi Kai,

      The NMIS modelling system is compatible in NMIS8 and NMIS9 which means the RRD's are the same as defined in the models.  NMIS9 will use these files the same way.

      We have some draft documentation on migrating from NMIS8 to NMIS9 would you like to try this?

        Hi Keith,

        now I have a new separate  Server with a fresh NMIS9 installation.

        I tested moving device from old server to new and now is working.

        I used currently a master/slave configuration via connect.pl with for Servers (one master)
        Can I mix between NMIS8 and NMIS9 or must I update alls Servers to same Time?
