Heads up. The WMIC tool is deprecated in Windows 10, version 21H1 and the 21H1 semi-annual channel release of Windows Server. This tool is superseded by Windows PowerShell for WMI.

Any idea what will be the plan for the Windows script after 21H1?

      We do use the wmic command line tool as part of discovery - but not as part of the Windows audit script. I guess we'll have to look at changing to the 'replacement'.

      At least it's only deprecated and not removed, right now.
