Upgrading opConfig is a very simple operation, if your starting version is 2.x. If you are migrating from opConfig version 1.x please check out the separate version 1.x upgrade guide page.
The required steps
- Download the new opConfig release
- become root and unpack the release tarball
- run the interactive installer and follow the prompts
- visit the opConfig GUI and confirm your EULA acceptance for the new version
