Sounds like a bug to me.
I'll log a ticket and see what I can do.
In the meantime, as you said, collapse the other sections as a workaround.

Using Openaudit 1.8.1, running on a Debian VM....when I view an inventoried device, and expand the menu for Software, for example, the bottom portion of the menu extends below the bottom border of the browser window, and does not scroll with the main page section, so there is no way to access the lower items in the menu. If I close each top-level item (summary, hardware software, settings) and open only one, I can see the entire subsection, but this is counter-intuitive and seems like a bad idea if it is by design.
Tried viewing with IE 11, Firefox 41.0.2 and Chrome 45.0.2454.101 m on Windows 8.1.
Suggestions?
