Looking at a diff between 1.5.3 and 1.8.4 and trying a 1.5.3 audit script with 1.8.4, it works fine.
There will be a couple of missing attributes and the script now has better code to work with various setups, but it will work.

Hi everyone, my question: The "audit_windows.vbs" from version 1.5.3 can be used in server running Open-AudIT 1.8.2?
Explanation. We are planning to upgrade from 1.5.3 to 1.8.2 soon, however we don't use the discovery feature or active directory credentials to perform a PC audit, instead we copied the "audit_windows.vbs" file to each PC to Windows folder and we setup with "Task Scheduler" a weekly audit task on each PC and the PC report directly to the server the results.
Because we have to many PCs we need to upgrade the server and gradually change the file version on each PC, I know this approach is weird but was the best way to implement Open-AudIT in our environment.
