At this stage Open-AudIT utilises (at most) three SNMP strings during Discovery.
You can provide a default SNMP community string in the configuration (menu -> Admin -> Config) and another when you submit the Discovery form. These can be different. Both will be tried when a device is discovered. When a device is discovered, if either of the SNMP strings work it will be stored with the device details. This device will then be able to be re-Discovered even if the default and Discovery form SNMP strings are different on subsequent Discovery runs.
So for now - multiple Discovery runs with different credentials.

Hi Mark,
Is it possible to have more than one comma seperated SNMP string for scheduled discovery tasks?

Rodney, not at this stage, no. You will have to make a separate entry for each separate discovery / community string.

Can I provide multiple SNMP Read strings in the Open-Audit discovery configurations and default config? Or do I need to run multiple discoveries with a different SNMP read string each time?
Thank you,
