Dears,

I need you urgent support for the following issue :

I installed NMIS 8 and I was able to monitor HP server through ILO and I am abel to get (storage , cpu info , network ,......)
but I didn't get any information related to HPA (fiber channel ) although I can see status of HPA in ILO.

some info related to Hardware and Software in my current environment as below:

-NMIS Version 8.6.8G

-HPA model version as showing in HP ILO =" HPE SN1100Q 16Gb 1P FC HBA"

-HPA model version as showing in redhat OS "Fibre Channel: QLogic Corp. ISP2722-based 16/32Gb Fibre Channel to PCIe Adapter "

-HP server = HP ProLiant DL380 Gen10

please you help to figure out if NMIS can support above HPA module , and if it support  how to add it in NMIS side.

Thanks an Best regards.

      Hello Haider,

I recently modeled the Dell DRAC, which is very similar to the HP ILO out of band solution. In most cases, OOB SNMP only returns the state of the machine itself and not live usage metrics regarding the interfaces.

If you have the SNMP MIBS for the HP ILO you should verify the information you want is or is not available. Once you have confirmed, you can quickly work up a custom model following this methodology: Device Modelling Checklist

      Best,

      Mark H
