This feature is partially compatible with nodes that are not assigned a specific model. If a node does not match a model only the ICMP/Ping frequency interval will be honored. Model assignment can be made manually or automatically. If the node model is set to automatic and the node does not match a model, the node will only honor the altered ICMP/Ping poling frequency.<There seem to be some caviates based on un-modeled things/un-modeled sections.> |

Increasing the ICMP/Ping frequency will not cause the reachability statistics to be updated. Increasing the ICMP/Ping frequency will provide more granular node up/down alerts. |
